Grant writing
Origin Farms provides a full range of grant-writing services. We have a proven track record of successful grant awards for our clients. We have helped clients develop successful USDA grants including the VAPG (Value Added Producer Grant), the Local MCap (Meat Capacity Grant) and REAP (Rural Energy for America Program).
We have also worked with dairies on both state and federal grants, including the: Southeast Dairy Business Innovation Initative’s (SDBII) Value-Added Business Innovation Grant and the Dairy Business Innovation Alliance (DBIA) Dairy Builder Grant. Learn more.
Business plans
Origin Farms works with companies to develop comprehensive business plans that include complete pro-forma financials. A thorough business plan gives a detailed description of the business and includes an in-depth analysis of products, competition, and processing facilities.
Feasibility studies
We develop independent feasibility assessments of business concepts, business plans, and on-going business entities. Typically, this work is completed for a client as a prerequisite for financing. We work with industry-specific experts to create customized studies in the cheese, meat, wine, cider, and specialty crop industries.
